Description

853 - The 8053 Surface Mount Temperature Sensor Allows You To Mount The Temperature Sensor On A Wall, And Connect To A Remotely Mounted Thermostat. The Sensor Can Be Painted To Match The Wall. The Sensor Can Be Used With The Aprilaire 8570 Or 8870 Thermostats. The Sensor Surface Mounts At The Desired Location And A Small Plastic Cover Conceals The Sensor. The Aprilaire 8053 Remote Sensor Only Requires 2 Wires To Connect To A Module Or Thermostat. It Is Ideal For Mounting In A Location That Has Limited Existing Wires, Allowing The Thermostat To Be Mounted In A Location Where Additional Wiring Can Be Readily Added. An 8061 Conversion Module Is Required. Up To Two Temperature Sensors Can Be Connected To One Thermostat
